Highlights

Educational Qualification

Graduation degree from a recognized University or Institute as on April 1, 2026.

Those who have already undergone apprenticeship training in SBI or any other organization previously, or those who have job experience of one year or more after graduation, are NOT eligible to apply.

Age Limit

As of April 1, 2026:

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years
• Candidates must have been born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive).
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.

The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online.

SBI Apprentice Selection Process 2026

• Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of local language.
• Except for the test of General English, Test questions for Written examination shall be set in 13 Regional Languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to English and Hindi Language.
• The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows;
