Qualification

• Educational Qualification: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Graduation Passing Date: Candidates must have passed their Graduation not earlier than 01/01/2023 and not later than 01/09/2026, both days inclusive.
• Local Language: Candidates who have studied the opted local language in 10th or 12th standard and can produce the relevant mark sheet/certificate will not be required to undergo the local language test. Other candidates will have to qualify in the local language test during Document Verification.
• Portal Registration: Candidates must have a 100% complete profile on https://nats.education.gov.in before applying.

Selection Process

• Stage 1 – State-wise Merit List based on marks/percentage obtained in 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) / Diploma.
• Stage 2 – Document Verification
• Stage 3 – Local Language Test, wherever applicable.
• Stage 4 – Medical Fitness / Final Engagement

The notification does not prescribe a written examination. Minimum marks required in 12th Standard/Diploma are 60% for general candidates and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
