🎯 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this lateral recruitment, we must meet specific academic and professional benchmarks. Note that current employees of Punjab and Sind Bank are not eligible to apply for this post.

🎓 Educational Qualification

• Degree: Graduation in any discipline from a government-recognised university.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 18 months of post-qualification branch experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB) as of 20.04.2026.
• Language Proficiency: You must be proficient (reading, writing, and understanding) in the mandatory local language of the state you apply for.

⏳ Age Limit

As of the cut-off date 01.03.2026, the age requirements are:

• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• (Candidate must have been born between 02.03.1996 and 01.03.2006, both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years).

💰 Pay Scale & Salary

Selected Local Bank Officers in JMGS-I will receive a pay scale of  48,480 –  85,920. Key benefits include:

• Advance Increments: 3 increments at the time of joining.
• Allowances: DA, HRA/Leased Accommodation, CCA, Medical, LTC, etc., as per bank rules.
• Increment Protection: Protection for JAIIB and CAIIB qualifications if already acquired.
